I am a disabled veteran from Texas staying at the VA Hospital down the road from NLCC. Five weeks ago I attended a service and Charmain and Bret Brackett prayed for me. I was instantly healed of a chronic back pain of some 40 years. Then Charmain visited me at the hospital. This motivated me to attend again and respond to an offer she made in a follow up e-mail. Because of that e-mail and her and Bret's continued prayer, a revival has broken out at the hospital. YOU, the Body of Christ, at NLCC are a major reason for this revival that has produced at least 5 new Christian. I am now able to do what you would have had a closed door to. I get the blessing of bringing discipleship to these men. You are also involved in obtaining Bibles and discipleship material that I can then spread, along with the new believers, throughout the hospital. The follow-up e-mail was the simple act of kindness your pastor has been promoting in you.

PLEASE, fan the flame of the gifts within each other so that your pastor's vision will become your vision and passion. There should be hundreds of posts here to encourage one another and especially your pastoral staff. You CAN take this city for Christ!

May God multiply His fruit in you and the give it away to make room for more Grace and anointing!

Thank you for loving me while I am away from my family and Church home!

Last night in INVASION we made goodie bags of candies that had scripture on them, and the kids went through the church givving them out and telling the people that Jesus loves them. It was our first Takin it to the streets campaign with our new 5 year olds that have graduated in the class and they LOVED IT!!!
If we can make a difference to THIS GENERATION imagine what THEY can do for the next!!!!!! God is AWESOME!

I'm two days homeless. I'm sure I'm fortunate at the moment, since I'm not *completely* on the street. I don't wish to overstay my welcome here though, sleeping on the couch of an old acquaintance. He has referred me to you, and I'm doing what I can to get on my feet somehow. I'm disabled, with a criminal record (long story.) I've been clean for over 18 months and all I want is to live a decent life. I'm very hopeful, though a bit lost right now...

I just moved from California and I have not been fellowshipping. I have been looking for a church home. I have already decided to be apart of New Life Christian Center. I have been dining at the wrong place and I’m requesting prayer and deliverance from alcohol. Please pray with me, that God will remove the taste and desire.I have asked God to restore me and forgive me for everything that I have done that has made him displeased with my spiritual walk with Him.</blockquote>

This entire message was for me. I just moved from California and I have not been fellowshipping. I have been looking for a church home. I have already decided to be apart of New Life Christian Center. I have been dining at the wrong place and I’m requesting prayer and deliverance from alcohol. Please pray with me, that God will remove the taste and desire. I loved the way God spoke to us in this message. I never really thought about what menu I have been eating from and I know that is the wrong menu and I have asked God to restore me and forgive me for everything that I have done that has made him displeased with my spiritual walk with Him.

The sermon and worship service was very encouraging. This is the first time I've watched the service on the internet. It felt like I was there attending the service today. My family and I enjoyed watching. We usually attend the morning service on Sundays. Thank you for the worship. I am encouraged about serving Jesus!!

God has blessed me to have the privilege to take it to the streets almost daily. But it was just something different about giving the cards out! It was fun! It was fun to treat people by paying for their meals and the tip at restaurants and also our meal we would leave ginormous tips anyway, but giving the card was a different thing, it was something tangible, seeming to be even better than the gift of the act itself, to see their faces light up and run to you and ask if you may have made a mistake, then you let them know its all God and about the love He has for us to be a blessing and the love He has for them and they are so in awe, you see it time and time again, they let us know they don't get those kind of tips here (where they work). Also, paying for the order behind you in the drive thrus, its kinda funny. I go to two different McD's and it seems to be the same women their to take my order in the am and the other at night. The lady at night really enjoys when I come through she gets excited about God blessing others, and just begins to conversate about the number of cars in a row it will trigger and keep me up-to-date on the numbers 4-3-5-4, she said that the other night I came through and paid for the person behind she counted six cars in a row that did it also, not counting me. She just thinks its so like God. Thank you Pastor for this vision - I really think its something in the cards! I give them the card to give to the next car and let them know to put it on separate payments (or else it can confuse the next window and they will give you both orders) so, now they don't have to call for the manager to key separate orders. I thought it was a bother but the order taker said it is ok because it is for the spreading of the goodness of God. She is such a delight. To God be all the glory and honor, for He is worthy to be praised!

not yet but there will be soon. There is a table in front of the Dive Deep entrance with camp information. You can also call Nicole at the church office and she would love to help you in any way. She is also at the table before and after each service.

My family and I noticed we had not seen one of our neighbors in a while, and the Lord prompted us to bake a cake and take it to him.. During our visit, we learned that this poor man had been recently confined to a wheel chair and given a premature death sentence by his physician. We were able to pray with him right then, and have been ever since! Praise God for listening to the promptings of the Holy Spirit!

A coworker of my husband has been battling a serious health condition for several months and has been unable to return to his job. At Christmas, we gave them groceries and money to buy gifts. However, their family had continued to be in my mind so strongly. The Lord told me to bless them again with more food. I thought that surely their situation had gotten better. When I went to deliver the groceries, he told me that his wife had lost her job, their son had been in a serious car accident, and their daughter had also had a wreck in their own vehicle. He was so appreciative and made the comment that Robert and I were the only people who had looked out after him during all of his trials. It made me feel good to know that I had obeyed the voice of the Holy Spirit. I have faith that they are closer to coming into the kingdom.

I stopped at Kroger on my way home from 31 Woman. Another customer and I left at the same time. As we were crossing the parking lot a driver was not paying attention making a turn and if we had not stopped we could have been hit. I commented to the lady that it was a good thing that we were watching where we were going. She said that people only think of themselves. As I continued to walk to my vehicle I was pondering that thought and was prompted to go back and help the lady. I asked if she needed help and she was so thankful. She said I was an angel sent by God and when I was done she gave me a great big hug and thanked me again. I handed her a "Takin' It to the Streets" card and pen. I just wanted to let her know that not everyone is just thinking of themselves.

I met a nice couple that lives in Grovetown at my little cousin's birthday party on Saturday. After talking to them for a while, I found out that they were actually looking for a church to visit. I invited them to NLCC. Guess what? They attended on Sunday morning. Their daughter liked Invasion. Hope to see them again. Invite people to our church. You might be surprised at who will come hungry and leave filled.

I was sitting outside with my daughter shortly after we started Taking it to the streets. A neighbor, Ditisha, who I already knew was watching her kids play from her window. I guess you could say that God used her first because I received an email that really upset me and was about to make a not so nice call, when Ditisha came to sit with me. I did not make that call. Then we got to talking and I somehow ended talking about our church. She invited us over to hang out. The kids played, while we got to talking. She told me how she had visited a few churches and had not found one yet she felt she belonged to. She said she always saw me outside watching my daughter but this time felt the need to go sit with me. It was God sending her to stop me from doing something I would regret and to speak to her. I invited her to visit New Life and has said she found her church. Thank you God for Taking it to the Streets helped two that day.

I am going to tell on my husband Danny's "random act" He rode by the gas station on the way to church last week. The Holy Spirit prompted him to go in and say good morning to the lady that he usually sees behind the counter and to give her one of Pastor Bryan series and to invite her to visit NLCC. She was very thankful.

I was sitting in a restaurant Monday after our fast was over.(lol) I began eating my food and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said to pay for someones meal. I began looking around and all the people in the restaurant had their tickets except for a young couple who had just walked in. They ordered their food and sat their talking to one another. The waitress then brought them their food. I asked the waitress if she had given them their ticket yet and she replied no. I told her that I wanted it. I paid for their meal and mine and left enough tip for mine and their tab. I wanted to remain unknown so I told the waitress to tell them that their meal was covered. If they ask why, I said to tell them that this was to let them know that God is still in the blessing business.

Last Thursday morning two small boys that live close to us were hit by a car while crossing the street to get on the school bus. One of them is still in the hospital. This weekend my family made gift baskets for them, and my husband delivered them to the boys' house. Their uncle updated us on their conditions. We told him that we were praying for them and just wanted them to know that our family cared about them. We will continue to pray for them. Their lives are valuable to the Lord. We took it to OUR street.

Nathan and I were pulling off 520 onto wrightsborogh when we saw a car on the side of the rode. On man had run out of gas and a nother that was with him was just checking on him. The second man was clearly homeless. He told me he just got out of prison after a 27 year stay. I let him use my phone and gave him a card. He smiled very big and thanked me. While Nathan witnessed to one I witnessed to the other. I we all talked for a while and when we were all done both had gotten eather a ride or gas to leave. I gave the homeless man a Bible he said thank you, he didnt have one. Its a good day to be born again!

I was walking out of the hosptal after a small procedure and was prompted by the spirit to stop in the coffe shop. Didnt know why i didnt even want any coffe. As i stood in line a young soldier with a cane said "hey SGT. one of your bandaids feel off". I thanked him and asked him why he had the cane. He told me about his injory and how they wanted to discharge him if it didnt get better; whitch would be a bad thing becase he had nothing outside the army. "my dad is a jonkie" he said, "and my mom took all my colledge money and blew it. i was on th streets before the army and thats where ill go if they boot me out." I asked him he belived in God (knowing God could help him in his situation) he stammered around and finnaly said i dont know what i belive. so we sat down together over our coffe and had a good conversation about how sin entered the world and how to find forgiveness through Jesus. about that time i had a trickle of blood run down from the place i had the procedure done so i shook his had told him it was good to meet him and went to clean my self up and stop the bleeding. I left the bathroom door cracked and the young man enterd thr room (not knowing i was in the bathroom) sat down next to a young ladie and said " i just had the best conversation i had in a really long time with this Sgt about God" at whitch time i walked out of the bathroom and said "thats the spirit of God" he turned around quite supprise to see me there but just smiled to see me. i gave him my number and told him if he wanted to talk more about God or just needed a freind to talk to to call me anytime. Very fufilling. I love how God sets us up to do His work! Always on time and never grevious. Dont search for what you can do for God. Be lead and you cant go wrong.

I left the bathroom door cracked and the young man enterd thr room (not knowing i was in the bathroom) sat down next to a young ladie and said ” i just had the best conversation i had in a really long time with this Sgt about God” at whitch time i walked out of the bathroom and said “thats the spirit of God” he turned around quite supprise to see me there but just smiled to see me. i gave him my number and told him if he wanted to talk more about God or just needed a freind to talk to to call me anytime. Very fufilling. I love how God sets us up to do His work! Always on time and never grevious. Dont search for what you can do for God. Be lead and you cant go wrong.

At Captian D's We paid for the lunch of the lady behind us, that opened the door to talk to her and she told me that her son (Cameron-age 2) had not eaten in 2 days because he had been sick, I was able to lay hands on his belly (after I bought him some chocolate cake lol!) and pray for his healing. It ministered to his mom in a mighty way, I invited her to church, her name is Priscilla. Please pray with me that they will visit New Life and realize the greatness of God! Then the next day it was pouring down rain and there was a middle school aged girl at the bus stop with no umbrella-so i pulled over and gave her a brand new one that I had in my truck. So funny I had bought it a few weeks ago for "no apparent reason" LOL God is soooo into the details! She smiled soo big it was awesome! This is just WAY TOO EASY! It should be a way of life in our daily life!!!

We were talking with our children on the way to our store about what they might want to do to "take it to the streets" and passed a car that was broken down in the flowing lane of traffic on Wrightsboro Rd. We turned around and asked if they would like us to help them push their car to a safer spot to avoid an accident. They said yes and by the time we got them pushed to the center lane of traffic 2 Sherriff cuisers came up. We talked with our children about what we did and that we not only helped/ministered to the people in the car but we may have also ministered to the Sherriff Deputies. I am sure the Sherriff's Department sees a lot of bad but we were able to show that there are still people in the world that care and help where they can. God is so awesome that right at the moment we were discussing what we could do to make a difference he dropped that oppurtunity right in our lap. We literally "took it to the streets".

The Monday after the takin it to the streets service I was driving and came to a man with a sign asking for help on the side of the road. The Lord reminded me I had a Burger King gift card from Christmas and to give it to him. He told me thank you and I told him to thank the Lord.

Morgan wanted to bake cookies for her birthday w/friends. (most of them being Invasion kids)
Then she wanted to share with the neighbors. So we distributed cookies and said God Bless you and Jesus loves you and handed out the business cards to them. 8 little girls storming houses ona Friday night for the glory of God! One man was shocked and said "it's YOUR birthday and you're giving ME cookies?"
Another house a woman said OH God bless you too and gave Morgan $20 for her birthday. INSTANT harvest!
Thanks to Morgan, Kaylee, Rachel, Holden, Graycen, Joselyn, Katie and Kassidy. Photo and story/photo posted to NLCC Facebook page as well.

1/21/10 The rain was falling on my way to work and I passed a man walking. The Holy Spirit prompted me to give him a ride. So I turned around and picked him up. He was very thankful for the dry ride to work, it would have been about 3 miles in the rain. I wished him a blessed day and gave him a Streets Flier as he went into his work place.

I really enjoyed wednesday's service. I never really understood fasting. Honestly I didn't want to do a food fast because I'm already 89lbs and I have to get my weight back up after having a baby in Oct 09. I feel that the main thing that keeps me from god is the TELEVISION!! I decided to go on a TV fast after I heard the Pastor mention it. I am fasting for the reunion of my family and the enemies to leave us alone. Recently the father of my child left (before he was born) because of his family and his jealous friends. I know that good things are coming and I am preparing myself for them.

I wanted to know the name of the song the choir sang in the a.m service on the 10th of Jan. The one which featured the girl and guy mostly. I went on the site to hear it and it would only allow me to listen to the sermon for the a.m service

Pastor Rhoda,
It is very difficult for me to attend Tues prayer since I work and have a very busy work schedule; however, I know the Lord has used me as a Prayer Warrior since I became Spirit-filled in Oct 1972. How can someone like me connect with the Church's prayer vision?

It is always refreshing to get a fresh word from the Holy Spirit. I have listen to this message twice now and will probably listen again and again until I possesses that which I am believing for! Thank you Pastor Bryan for spending so much time with the precious Holy Spirit!!!!
